THE ARTS
The Arts Facet is a foundational arm of community service for The Atlanta (GA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated.
Our members develop programs that support youth development in classical genres such as music, dance and writing, support HBCU students who are leveraging visual arts such as film and design to present transformational stories reflecting the black community and supporting the exposure of professional artists and their content.
Our chapter has partnered with the High Museum of Art, National Black Arts Festival, The Alliance Theater, Fulton County Arts Council and Spelman College Museum of Art and continues to seek new opportunities to uplift all forms of art to the community.

PROGRAMS

The Green Screen Project program supports HBCU students in filmmaking through scholarships, screenings, and industry exposure, reaching more than 7,000 viewers through film festivals and showcases over four years.

Art-portunities promotes arts education and appreciation by supporting young artists and expanding access to performing and visual arts through partnerships with the Urban Youth Harp Ensemble and Southwest Arts Center, including initiatives such as creative writing competitions and dance therapy.
